Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger has had quite a dramatic offseason. On March 8th, 2009 Roethlisberger was accused for the second time of sexual misconduct. A 20 year old college student stated that she was sexually assulted by Roethlisberger. There is also a previous case of rape charged faced to Roethlisberger from 2008. Both cases are lawsuits but still have yet to be proven.

Ben Roethlisberger which is the 1st string quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, does not have a concrete place in the line up this year for the Steelers. The Steelers are not sure if they want to trade Roethlisberger or what they should do with him. In the 2010 NFL Draft the Steelers would like to get Sam Bradford as there new quarterback but are still uncertain on what the final outcome will be.

According to the NFL news, neither cases have yet been proven making the court decision still undecided due to the lack of evidence, but the NFL Board can still punish Roethlisberger.

Donovan McNabb

After being a Philadelphia Eagle player for 11 years, Donovan McNabb finally said his goodbyes. McNabb was just recently traded to the Washington Redskins. Many people believe this was a good move by the Eagles but others disagree and think Philadelphia will regret it.

The Right move was to get rid of Donovan McNabb. Yes he was a talented player, but the Eagles Also have Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick. Vick finally returning to the NFL this past season was not at his full potential. Vick played a little throughout the season, but Kolb and McNabb were the Eagles main quarterbacks. During this years off season, the Eagles coaches and workers will work with Vick to get him back to where he use to be. Vick will most likely start the season with Kolb as his back-up.

The Eagles gained a second round draft pick (37th) in 2010, and either a third or fourth round draft pick in 2011. McNabb stated that he was very excited to start his career with the Washington Redskins. He said he shared alot of memories with the Eagles, but his main goal was to win a Super Bowl, which the Eagles have fallen short of in the past years.

New Orleans Saints

This past 2009-2010 season in the NFL was definetly interesting. At the beginning of the season many people had in mind what teams were going to do good and what teams werent. But as the season progressed, there were many upsets and many shockers.

The Indianapolis Colts, along with the New Orleans Saints were truly the best teams in the NFL, both holding undefeated records. Up until week 15 the Saints were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys, and in week 16 The Colts were Defeated by the New York Jets. Both the Colts and the Saints went on to the Super Bowl but the Saints proved they were the best.

This upcoming season should be very interesting, with both major college seniors coming to the NFL through the draft, and also trades and free agents. Top NFL celebrities are being traded or released by there teams due to the lack of interest staying with the team, or salary problems.
